Mardi Himal trekking, unknown to many wide-world trekkers and adventurer as this area located in the hidden corners of Annapurna Himalaya beneath towering Machapuchare Himal famously known as Fish Tail peaks due to its twin summit top, an unclimbed and virgin mountain of whole Himalaya region.

Mardi Himal trekking was first explored by Col Jimmy Roberts finding the route of Machapuchare Himal for British Expedition in early 1960’s, it was christened as other sanctuary (where the first is within Annapurna Himalaya).

Slowly this areas getting popular due to its pristine wilderness of mountains and serene environment well hidden from the main stream trekking trails of Annapurna areas, in early days it was a place for cattle herders with large grazing meadows and summer pastures.

At present many lodges has been established catering the needs of visitors and trekkers in this beautiful surrounding, where only few trekkers ventures in this remote and wild areas of Mardi Himal.

Starting our wonderful journey, taking a short drive from scenic Pokhara valley to high hills covered within enchanting woodland of tall rhododendron (national flower of Nepal), magnolia, oaks, pines and fir tree lines.

As walk progress entering into nice villages of Gurung people a hill tribe of Annapurna region with immense age-old Buddhist culture and custom, and then leaving human settlement into complete wilderness of mountain scenery at Mardi Himal high camp and its base camp.

With magnificent time on Mardi Himal and walking on high scenic ridges our journey completes walking back to road head with short drive to picturesque Pokhara after a great wonderful experience on Mardi Himal Trekking.
