Tramping Himalaya Adventures offers an outstanding journey and exploration within high and remote areas of Khumbu within Everest region for an adventure on Mera Peak Trek & Climb, where you will be enclosed within high giant mountains for two weeks in complete wilderness.

Mera Peak Trek & Climb leads you atop 6,461 m and 21, 1907 ft high, where you will be delighted to know that Mera Peak one of the highest trekking peaks of Nepal Himalaya where walk and climb leads you away from main stream trekking trail on off the beaten tracks towards east of Khumbu and South of Everest within close distance of Baruntse and Makalu region.

Mera Peak Trek & Climb, of F (Facial Easy) grade, which means a straightforward climb of less technical effort where walk and climb leads to moraine and glacier including snow slopes, however one must be well equipped with proper gear iceaxe, crampons with sound health.

The grade comes from French & Swiss Alpine Climbing Classification Systems as used worldwide on alpine style climbing of a day adventure.

Starting this fascinating adventure Mera Peak Trek & Climb taking a short scenic flight to reach at Lukla a Sherpa town, and the door to various trekking and climb around Khumbu within Everest region, our walks starts right from Lukla heading away from town and villages towards pristine wilderness and over high ridges to scenic Inkhu valley, where trekkers and adventurer seldom venture this isolated areas of eastern Khumbu.

The climb is undertaken after much rest days for practice and acclimatization with rest days to tackle the strenuous long climb to the summit of Mera Peak offering grandeur panorama of Everest and other array of high peaks, after being on top

and completing our major highlights of the trip where walk leads on the same route back to Lukla for flight to Kathmandu after concluding an overwhelming time and adventure on Mera Peak Trek & Climb.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 On arrival in Kathmandu meet our staff for transfer to hotel

On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport received by our staff and guide with warm welcome and greetings and then transfer to your hotels in the heart of Kathmandu city. After checking into your rooms getting refreshed from Jet-Lag, a quiet environment after getting refreshed join at main hall or in lobby where our guide will provide briefing on treks-hotels with necessary information. Evening includes group dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with folk culture program with various dances of Nepal while having your authentic Nepalese dinner with local entertainment.

Day 2 Fly to Lukla 2,820 m and trek to Paiya 2730 M, 35 Minutes flight 6 Hours Trek

Early morning transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport for super short flight to land at Lukla, The Lukla airport is located at a clearing atop a hill, and the short flight presents amazing views of the wonderful surroundings,  Open landing at the Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla, We will begin our trek to Paiya, We will start Jungle walk downhill to Surke village by amazing of Himalayas views, From here we will continue moving south cross the Chuto la pass before reaching the small vial of Paiya,

Day 3 Paiya to Panggom 2846 6 Hours Trek 2846 M, 6 Hours Trek

Starting hill from Paiya, we will reach a small bridge from where henceforth the trail turns a bit slippery, we will cross the Kari-La Pass, Walking through the rhododendron and bamboo forests on a narrow trail, Today’s trip we will also likely to be in the awestriking presence and the Duthkoshi valley, Then continue out trek to Panggom village settlers are depending on farming and trading, the day is extremely rich in natural beauty made even more gorgeous,

Day 4 Panggom to Ramailo Danda 2863 M - 06 hrs

We begin our trek, trekking out of Panggom, We will cross the Panggom-La Pass ascending on a steady path turning north we will cross the Ningsow Khola before reaching the Ningsow village then continue ascending then descending for a while to climb a little more to reach Ramailo Danda.

Day 5 Ramailo Danda to Chetra Khola 2800 M, 7 Hours Trek

Start the day with breakfast, The Journey begins on the trails up and down, The weather allows us can see the views of Mera Peak and Salpa, After up and downhill walk we will enter Makalu Barun National Park, It is the eighth National Park in the Himalayas of Nepal and it was established in 1992 as an eastern extension of the Sagarmath National Park, The protected area of the Makalu Barun National Park is a habitat for a wide diversity and flora and fauna species,

Day: 6 Chetra Khola to Kothey 3691 M, 5 Hours Trek

Trek  begins towards the north on the main trail to Mera Peak, we will find ourselves alongside a trail next to the Majang Khola, and from here we shall  merge with another trail that moves alongside the Hinku Khola, Our trail moves staring ahead towards Tashing Ongma which has seasonal tea shops lining the main trail, Continuein our tre we will cross the bridge or the Sanu Khola before reaching Kothey

Day 7 Trek to Tagnag 4,360 m - 05 hrs.

Adventure continues towards north east after leaving tree lines and green vegetation, as the walk progress reaching into a wide open valley within grazing land around scattered cattle herders shades at Gondishung 4,350 m near to our overnight stop at Tag-Nag. Gondishung with more than 200 years old small Gompa, walk continues for an hour to Tag-Nag for overnight stop, a temporary place with huts and shades houses a small lodge as tea house.

Day 8 Thagnak to Khare 5045 M, 3 -4 Hours Trek

We will start our day begins with Breakfast, We will follow the moraine of Dig Glacier of Dig Kharka from where gorgeous views of the Charpate Himal, Ther trail ascending through the moraine to snout of the Hinku Nup and the Share glaciers, from where it further branches out more steeply to Khare, From here we can see the northern  face of Mera Peak, the sight is truly anything unlike ever you experienced, After lunch we can explore around Khare,

Day 9 Khare Acclimatization ( Rest Day ) 5045 M, Climbing Training Course

We have a spare day for acclimatization and pre-basic climbing training to prepare ourselves better for the climbing to Mera Peak, Our climbing leader will help us polish our basic climbing techniques and demonstrate the best ways to use our climbing gears like the ice axe, harness, ascender, climbing boots, and crampons, the training will also include learning the best climbing technique with the rope, Overnight at Khare,

Day 10 Trek and climb to High camp 5,780 m - 06 hrs

We will start our steep trail to the Mera Peak Base Camp, from her ewe continue further through Mera-la Pass to reach high camp, Our path along the rocky trail which be hazardous if it has recently snowed as there as a number of crevasses, Our way to the top of the rock band was marked by a large cairn, we will set up a high camp as we enjoy excellent views of Mt. Everest, Mt, Makalu, Mt. Cho-Oyu Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse Chamlang and Baruntse, Overnight at Mera High Camp

Day 11 Climb up to Mera Peak summit at 6,461 m / 21, 1907 ft - Khare 5000. 08 hrs

Final ascent to our major adventure and highlight of the trip, starting early before dawn, heading towards steady climb and with least technical effort, as our route leads to a straightforward climb, however safety measures should be taken equipped with crampons, ice axe, helmets and positive attitude. After strenuous climb reaching on top Mera Peak summit offers mind blowing views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho- Oyu and all the way towards Mt. Kanchenjunga in eastern horizon with array of peaks, after a great climb descend back to base camp using the same route after feeling exhausted but feeling great to have done this marvelous adventurous climb on Mera peak.

Day 12 Trek to Tagnag - 07 hrs

After a great walk with climb of Mera peaks heading back to Lukla on the same route to reach at Tagnag for overnight stop in this nice lovely spot within mountains and grand scenery of surrounding hills and peaks.

Day 13 Trek to Khothay 3,600 m -06 hrs.

From Mera Peak base camp return journey leads to pleasant walks without any problem of altitude gain, although the trail leads you with few ups and downs and then back into green surrounding within rich vegetations and tall trees on reaching at Khothay for overnight stop, a small cattle herder camp and shelter.

Day 14 Trek to Thuli Kharka 4,200 m - 05 hrs

Morning walk continues leading into forest then with a steep climb on hills and continue walk on nice grassy meadow on the gradual path to reach our last camp of this trek at Thuli-Kharka.

Day 15 Trek to Lukla - 06 hrs.

Morning with last day trek of this marvelous adventure leads on same scenic trail and climb over Kalo Himal and Naulekh Himal and its high ridges crossing over Zatrwa Og, and Zatrwa-La with views of Dudh Kosi River valley and Karyolung then steep descend to Chutanga and finally ending the long walks back into Lukla in the comfort of nice and cozy lodge. In Lukla celebrate last night dinner among fellow trekkers, guides and porters after a fantastic time on top Mera Peak Climb.

Day 16 Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotels.

Morning transfer to Luka air terminal known as Tenzing-Hillary airport, tribute to late legendry mountaineers the first two to conquer on top Mt. Everest. As per the flight time board in small aircraft (Dornier or Twin Otter) a scenic 35 minutes flight brings you to hustle and bustle city life of Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu transfer to your respective hotels with afternoon free at leisure.

Day 17 Depart for international flight home ward bound or to respective countries
